Riverbank Barn  

A West Cork cottage retreat. Peaceful but offering character accommodation close to Skibbereen, Baltimore, Glandore, Schull and Bantry.

Upstairs:
Riverbank Barn is entered at the first floor level via the old stone steps. Open-plan living area. Compact yet cosy, There is a small kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher and a small table for two. The settee faces the flat screen TV on the stone wall. There is satellite TV, a DVD and CD player.

Downstairs:
From the living area, a wrought iron spiral staircase leads to a large bedroom. (the staircase is steep so not suitable for people with walking difficulties or couples with toddlers). Low ceilings, exposed beams and stone walls.

There is 2 metre wide bed and a double jacuzzi. There is a second TV. There is an en-suite bathroom with double shower unit.

Outside:
There is a raised deck, where in summer you can also enjoy eating al-fresco and in winter sit out here at night, gaze at the stars and listen to the river - fabulous. The buildings are enclosed by a stone courtyard and in front of the property, a small meadow slopes down to the small river. The location is peaceful and beautiful.

In winter we recommend Riverbank Barn for short stays as it is cosy but compact. In summer the additional space provided by the deck makes it a more comfortable unit for longer stays
